HCRG Care Group secures five-year contract to deliver Lancashire 0-19 services
HCRG Care Group, the country’s largest community services specialist provider, has been awarded a contract which will see it continue delivering the Lancashire 0-19 public health nursing service across the county until 2030 and beyond.
The new contract was awarded following a competitive procurement process led by Lancashire County Council which saw HCRG Care Group score highest.
The contract will see HCRG Care Group build on its six-year track record in Lancashire, delivering health visiting, school nursing, and specialist public health services for children, young people, and their families, with a focus on expanding local partnerships.

Key plans for future developments under the new contract include:
- A formal subcontracted partnership with Child Action Northwest, enhancing school-age mental health support.
- A significantly expanded school nursing presence, with more frequent drop-in sessions.
- Additional mandated health visitor contacts, ensuring earlier and more sustained engagement with families.
- A digital front door, providing seamless online access to advice, referrals and support services.
