New sexual health and HIV treatment services to launch in Coventry and Warwickshire
A new, integrated sexual health service for residents of Coventry and Warwickshire will launch on 1 April. The integrated service will provide patients with support and advice either online, by phone or at the new local hubs across the patch.
Provided by HCRG Care Group, the integrated sexual health service will continue to offer patients of all ages free and confidential support for sexual and reproductive health advice and education, along with:
- Contraception information and advice, including where to access emergency contraception
- Access to sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing online or at the local hubs
- HIV testing and treatment
- Access to Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
Services can be accessed online via The Sexual Health Hub website, by phone at 0300 247 0069, or at one of the local hubs:
- Coventry: West Orchards Shopping Centre, Coventry, CV1 1QX
- Rugby: Swan Centre, Chapel Street, Rugby, CV21 3EB
- Leamington Spa: 32 Bath Street, Leamington Spa, CV31 3AE (open from 1 May 2024)
- Nuneaton: Bond House, Newdegate Street, Nuneaton, CV11 4EU.
Shade Agboola, Director of Public Health at Warwickshire County Council said: “The new integrated sexual health service will continue to provide our residents with free and confidential support for their sexual health. The new provider, HCRG Care Group, will begin to operate from hub locations, meaning our residents can access support from a wider range of locations.”

The new services will be available from 1 April 2024. Existing locations in Coventry and Warwickshire will close with effect from Thursday 28th March (before the Easter weekend bank holidays).
Until 31 March 2024 anyone with a sexual health need should contact existing services as they do currently, details can be found on the website Sexual Health Warwickshire or at Coventry’s Integrated Sexual Health Service.
