HCRG Care Group has received national recognition for its Nursing Preceptorship Programme.
The health and care provider has been awarded the National Preceptorship Interim Gold Quality Mark by NHS England’s National Workforce Skills Development unit.
The Interim Gold Quality Mark is awarded to organisations who provide a high level of quality and excellence through their preceptorship programmes and meet a set of core and gold quality standards.
HCRG Care Group’s in-house learning and development team – The Learning Enterprise – underwent a rigorous process of self-assessment against all the core standards of the Quality Mark and provided robust evidence demonstrating how a minimum of 80% of each of these standards were achieved.
Paul Lundbeck, People Services Director, said: “We are really proud to have been awarded the National Preceptorship Interim Gold Quality Mark for our Nursing Preceptorship Programme.
“Having NHSE National Workforce Skills Development unit recognise the high standards and excellence of our preceptorship programme to support our newly registered nursing colleagues is a great achievement for HCRG Care Group.
“The high standard achieved for our Nursing Preceptorship will influence and support the development of our new AHP preceptorship which will be launched over the coming months.”
