HCRG Care Group signs up to support Armed Forces community
HCRG Care Group, a leading provider of NHS and local authority healthcare services across the UK, has made a commitment to ensuring that people who have served in the Armed Forces and their families are treated fairly.
The organisation has signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant, making a pledge to support the employment of veterans and their spouses or partners and to support employees who are members of the Reserve Forces or volunteer leaders in military cadet organisations.
It also marks a commitment to championing Remembrance activities like Armed Forces Day, Reserves Day, the Poppy Appeal Day and Armed Forces charities.
The Armed Forces Covenant was signed at HCRG Care Group’s High Post hub in Salisbury, Wiltshire by Val Scrase, Regional Director at HCRG Care Group and Major Pete Rooney.
Wiltshire has one of the largest military populations in the country so this is particularly poignant ahead of April 2025 when HCRG Care Group will be leading an innovative new community-based care partnership across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire with the NHS, local authorities and charities.
