HCRG Care Group awarded new contract to continue supporting families across Wiltshire
Independent community health services provider HCRG Care Group will continue to deliver public health nursing services across Wiltshire after winning a new £7m contract.
HCRG Care Group will continue to run the services for a further five years until at least March 2029 following a competitive tender process run by Wiltshire Council.
The national healthcare provider is among the largest independent sector organisations delivering public health nursing services in England with similar services in Bath and North East Somerset, Essex and Lancashire employing more than 5,000 people across the country.
HCRG Care Group was originally awarded a contract in 2016 to bring together disparate services into a Wiltshire-focused service, delivering services for families from within the county’s borders. That was achieved in 2019, and the company has since then continued to deliver services rated “good” by the CQC – including continuing visiting throughout the pandemic.
Commissioned by Wiltshire Council, HCRG Care Group provides nurse led public health services for children, young people and families from 0-19 years. Services include 0-5 services (health visiting), 5-19 services and the Family Nurse Partnership programme for first time mothers aged 19 and under.
